What’s my background?
Like many good stories, this one starts with a glass of wine.
Back in 2020, I was on furlough, sipping on a ‘Furlough Merlot’ and reflecting on life before, during and after Covid when it hit me – I really didn’t like my job.
So, in what some might call a bold move (others might say slightly unhinged), I handed in my notice and started Pure Virtual Assistants.
Since then, I’ve worked with brilliant businesses across the UK, including mortgage brokers, estate agents, food industry professionals, and marketing agencies, to name but a few.
Every client is different, but they all need reliable support they can actually count on.
My working style is very hands-on. I like to get properly stuck in, understand your business and become someone you can trust to just get things done without endless back and forth.
And while I now get paid for my time, my Dad still insists on using me as his personal PA as his Christmas gift shopper every year. Let’s just say that particular client pays in tiramisu and sarcasm.
Who am I, really?
I grew up in a picture-postcard village in Kent called Shepherdswell, but I made Milton Keynes my home in 2005.
It’s where I met my husband, became Stacey Lacey (yes, that really is my name), and where we now live with our 13-year-old daughter, who keeps life busy, sassy, and absolutely hilarious!.
When I’m not helping clients run their businesses more smoothly, you’ll usually find me strength training in the gym, hunting for a bargain holiday or weekend break, singing my heart out at a live gig, or catching up with mates over a glass of prosecco or two. I’ve also got a soft spot for cosying up with a good book and a hot chocolate…heaven!
